Since 1978, Empire Theatres has been a proud supporter of various community groups on a national, regional, and local scale. We take pride in giving back to our neighbourhoods through donations, sponsorships, and event participation. We have developed this online Donation and Sponsorship application with guidelines and criteria in order to ensure that we evaluate each proposal equally. Although there are many organizations that need support, unfortunately we are not able to assist them all due to the numerous requests that we receive.
Evaluation Process
Empire Theatres will consider requests from organizations, programs and initiatives that: 1. Support children and youth in the community Proposals must be submitted a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the event or time when seeking a donation and a minimum of 16 weeks when requesting sponsorship. In order to be able to review all organizations seeking support, we will not accept applications from a group more than once a year. Upon submission of your Donation and Sponsorship form, your request will be reviewed by a regional team member. If your organization will be receiving support from Empire Theatres, you will be contacted within 2 weeks of donation request date and 12 weeks before your sponsorship date, either by telephone or email. Due to the large number of requests we receive, we are unable to provide individual status updates. A confirmation that your submission has been received will be sent to your email address once you have completed the application form and submitted it. While we acknowledge the hard work of great organizations across the country we, unfortunately, will not be able to respond to every request and therefore only those applications that have been approved will be contacted.
