Synopsis

Lawrence Talbot's childhood ended the night his mother died. After he left the sleepy Victorian hamlet of Blackmoor, he spent decades trying to forget. When his brother's fiancée, Gwen Conliffe, tracks him down to help find her missing love, Talbot returns home to join the search. He learns that something with brute strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers. As he pieces together the gory puzzle, he hears of an ancient curse that turns the afflicted into werewolves when the moon is full. Talbot must destroy the vicious creature in the woods surrounding Blackmoor, but as he hunts for the nightmarish beast, a simple man with a tortured past will uncover a primal side to himself -- one he never imagined existed.

Comments: This was supposed to be wolfman, not wolfsonanddaddyo, or wolfsappyloser! It was very disappointing and can't believe Anthony Hopkins even did it. There were a couple decent parts and so I just don't understand with all the good writing, technology, producing, etc out there today why it was so stupid and lame. No real excitement to be found here.

Comments: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH DON'T GO SEE THIS! HORRIBLE, BORING, WASTE OF MONEY! Go see something like From Paris With Love, really enjoyed that one. Could not stand this movie though.

Comments: I got what I wanted out of this movie, it had about 5 or 6 good scenes to make you jump. I Love Anthony Hopkins, and I thought he did really well in this movie. The special effects weren't awesome, the plot wasn't great, I doubt I'd buy it but it wasn't awful!

Comments: Not bad, better than we expected. My wife wanted to see it and we both felt that it was much like the old Lon Chainnee warewolf stories of the past we remembered as kids growing up in the 60's & early 70's. Acting by Hopkins and Del Toro was very good!

Comments: Apparently sarjanna has never seen a good movie, otherwise s/he would have hated this poor excuse for celluloid. Considering the cast, the acting was terrible, the 'drama' far overblown and cliche, the cgi barely passable and the suspense, well, unsuspenseful. The best part was when it ended and we could go home.

Comments: Special Effects were very good but no real story to it! Seemed like it could have been edited better or something. No real background story brought out to make sense of some things and the love story part of it was very stilted and contrived.

Comments: They didn't even talk about the history of werewolves. This 'story' just jumpped into the one story about this one person and didn't even explain it properally! AND SOOOO CHEESEY! Graphics could be SO much better, and story line = crap

Comments: Wow !! This movie is FANTASTIC!! Great acting, screenplay and one of the best movies my husband and I have seen this year! We go to the movies usually twice a week and see most movies playing and this has to be alongside some of the best we have seen. We were anticipating the release of Wolfman and thought it would not meet our expectations but it surpassed them!! Do yourself a favour and put thison your view list!
