Good movie.
This movie was pretty good! A little bit different of the other james bond movie.
Absolutely Terrible
The shakey camera thing during action scenes is awful. The storyline was confusing. The whole thing was as terrible as the last X-files movie. Hard to believe they would allow this to be part of the Bond series.
Bond 007
Action scenes were heart stopping and fun to watch. Not much in the way of a story.Only got to see Daniel Craig with his shirt off four times. Not enough as far as I'm concerned.I was disappointed.
Movie was alright
It was ok but in my opinion the worst of all the bond movies. There was no bond girl! :(
Bond. James Bond. Or at least he used to be.
I've been excited for this movie for months now and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed. The acting was alright, I liked the new bond girls but the movie never really drew me in for longer than a few minutes at a time. I don't even remember the new bond girls' name or the villain's name. The villain was absolutely terrible for that matter, I had a difficult time just watching any scene with him in it. He totally wasn't up to the caliber of a Bond villain.
The movie was paced badly, there were very very few scenes that gave the viewer any time to breath and take in what happened. The action scenes were so split second rapid fire it was almost impossible to follow. The movie is called Quantum of Solace and they set up the plot as if it's about the organization lurking in the shadows in Casino Royale and yet after the first ten minutes there's practically no other mention of said organization until the last ten minutes and even in those ten minutes the only single thing we learn is it's name.
With the exception of a single scene near the middle of the movie the only parts of the movie that interested me were the first and last 10 minutes which actually had a plot. It seems like after the first ten minutes the movie goes on a completely obscure tangent and only gets back to the real storyline right at the end of the movie.
I came two and a half hours before the movie started so that I could actually get tickets and a seat, and during the wait I sat in the bookstore reading. I enjoyed the hour of reading far more than I enjoyed this two hour bore fest.
Not as good as Casino Royale
I was kind of disapointed... bond seemed almost robotic..not enough STORY or emotion. i also missed the gadjets & what happened to "Q"? even the villians were boring.
A complete waste of time and money!
I've seen just about every 007 movie there was made. This one has to be the poorest production and representation of
the classic 007 image I have ever seen.
The acting was ok. However, the visuals were fourth rate at best. Jumpy camera movement and millisecond scenes made to disguise real actions reminded me of my younger daughters handling of a video camera. The story line was very weak and poorly written.
What happened to the gadgets, the scenes in the lab, the well equipped car that immortalized the 007 image.
It's unfortunate there is no guarantee, otherwise I'd demand a refund.
quantum of solaace
