Synopsis

Alan Alvarez (John Lloyd Cruz) is an account manager in the bank owned by the family of his girlfriend of four years, Daphne Recto (Maricar Reyes). While he's sure he loves her and has no regrets about the life and love he's chosen, he's been feeling restless and lonely, asking himself if this is the life he really wants. Mia Samonte (Bea Alonzo) works as a front desk officer in a hotel in Malaysia. She and Alan have their fateful meeting on board the Pasig River Ferry. Mia is a breath of fresh air in Alan's otherwise stale and stifling existence. Fate and faith, and time and timing are two of the themes discussed in the film. And yes, the idea of a whirlwind romance. Could you really fall in love with a stranger in a matter of days? And should that prove to be real, can your love withstand time and distance? Can that love survive the reality heartbreak brought about by history and an innate sense of responsibility and decency?
