Synopsis

Reporter Bob Wilton is in search of his next big story when he encounters Lyn Cassady, a shadowy figure who claims to be part of an experimental U.S. military unit. According to Cassady, the New Earth Army is changing the way wars are fought. A legion of "Warrior Monks" with unparalleled psychic powers can read the enemy's thoughts, pass through solid walls, and even kill a goat simply by staring at it. Now, the program's founder, Bill Django, has gone missing and Cassady's mission is to find him. Intrigued by his new acquaintance's far-fetched stories, Bob impulsively decides to accompany him on the search. When the pair tracks Django to a clandestine training camp run by renegade psychic Larry Hooper, the reporter is trapped in the middle of a grudge match between the forces of Django's New Earth Army and Hooper's personal militia of super soldiers. In order to survive this wild adventure, Bob will have to outwit an enemy he never thought possible.

Disappointing

1

I was looking forward to seeing this movie after viewing the Trailer but pretty much any funny moment was seen there..this movie was a total *yawn* and the entire plot rather silly, George Clooney has his moments but not enough to save the film...my advise..save your money and wait for the rental

Borderline Walk Out

Very tempted to walk out on this movie. Was not saved by the cast. Felt horrible for dragging my girlfriend to see it. Maybe its for the old folks, since its very hippy heavy. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Loved It

It was alot about nothing, but hilarous, a nice break from the romantic comedy, Clooney is amazing in everything he does.

Terrible Movie!

This is probably THE worst movie I have ever endured. It is way too long, by about 1 hour 20 minutes. Not funny. Stupid. DOn't waste your money or time.

Not too bad, but not to good either....

Yeah, you read the title right. Let me start off by saying this; if your in the mood for a film completely based on imature humour, then you've come to the right place. If you haven't, well, see something else.
When you see the trailer for this movie, it looks like a comedy that is based on something stupid, but turns out to just be funny. The actualy movie is different. For the first half, there is a storyline that is completely original and builds up on itself. But when the second half takes over, then its nothing but nonsense. Funny, but making no sense in the process of being so.
Ewan does a good job to keep his part, and Clooney seems a little off, but I think that it's just his character. As for the others, well what can I say? They're as crazy as they look.
Other than these small (but all too known) flaws, this is an okay movie, but I would only recomend it to my not-too-mature friends. See it if you want, but don't say I didn't warn ya'.

Peace Out!
