SynopsisClyde Shelton is an upstanding family man whose wife and daughter are brutally murdered during a home invasion. When the killers are caught, Nick Rice, a hotshot young Philadelphia prosecutor, is assigned to the case. Over his objections, Nick is forced by his boss to offer one of the suspects a light sentence in exchange for testifying against his accomplice. Fast forward 10 years. The man who got away with murder is found dead and Clyde Shelton coolly admits his guilt. Then he issues a warning to Nick: Either fix the flawed justice system that failed his family, or key players in the trial will die. Soon Shelton follows through on his threats, orchestrating from his jail cell a string of spectacularly diabolical assassinations that can be neither predicted nor prevented. Philadelphia is gripped with fear as Shelton's high-profile targets are slain one after another and the authorities are powerless to halt his reign of terror. Only Nick can stop the killing, and to do so he must outwit this brilliant sociopath in a harrowing contest of wills in which even the smallest misstep means death. With his own family now in Shelton's crosshairs, Nick finds himself in a desperate race against time facing a deadly adversary who seems always to be one step ahead.ProducersLucas Foster, Gerard Butler, Alan Siegel, Mark Gill, Kurt Wimmer, Robert KatzUser Reviews To post a movie review, please login.

Good flick
Good flick with some clever twists. If you are a Gerard Butler fan, you'll enjoy this movie even more.
Hard hitting
I enjoyed this movie a lot, full of action and keeps you guessing. Add some gore and it's the perfect action/thriller..I even liked the ending..go see it.
WOW
This movie was pure genius - the plot was amazing throughout the entire movie, and it constantly kept you on edge. I don't think there was a single dull moment. This movie includes a little bit everything, which is great if you're going to see it with a mixed audience, because it has something for everyone. The ending was really good as well I thought too - very well thought out, very well written.. didn't leave you hanging, and left you with your mouth open in surprise. Truly the best movie I've seen in a long time since The Uninvited. Two thumbs up! :)
A real Jumper
A truely "all around" great movie and there are not a lot of them these days. I know there were several parts where absolutely everyone in the theater came right out of their seats. An absolute "must not miss"!!!
As good as it looks
and thats pretty frikin good
My husband and I thoroughly
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I thought it gave you a bit of everything.
The best movie since
The best movie since "Taken". Very good ending. A must see. Will see again in theatres, it was that good.
Very good movie
Good movie overall. Has some nice ideas. The end isn't so good as the entire movie but worth watching. Feels like some parts, mostly at the end, could be much better. But overall movie is worth watching
this was non-stop action
this was non-stop action with a very clever and surprising ending, it was the best movie i have ever seen
Law Abiding Citizen
THis movie was very good til the end, it was very disappointing for the three of us who went we couldn't believe a movie that had such good action would end so badly.
Law Abiding Citizen
A fun movie that was interesting for 95% of the movie. Too bad that they took a lazy way to end the movie instead of some originality. It amazes me how so much effort can be put into a movie script and then they get so lazy when they want to wrap it up.
