SynopsisWhat was Mark Whitacre thinking? A rising star at agri-industry giant Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), Whitacre suddenly turns whistleblower. Even as he exposes his company's multi-national price-fixing conspiracy to the FBI, Whitacre envisions himself being hailed as a hero of the common man and handed a promotion. But before all that can happen, the FBI needs evidence, so Whitacre eagerly agrees to wear a wire and carry a hidden tape recorder in his briefcase, imagining himself as a kind of de facto secret agent. Unfortunately for the FBI, their lead witness hasn't been quite so forthcoming about helping himself to the corporate coffers. Whitacre's ever-changing account frustrates the agents and threatens the case against ADM as it becomes almost impossible to decipher what is real and what is the product of Whitacre's rambling imagination. Based on the true story of the highest-ranking corporate whistleblower in U.S. history.CastMatt Damon, Scott Bakula, Joel McHale, Melanie Lynskey, Tony Hale, Paul F. Tompkins, Thomas F. The Informant
Don't waste your money, this is by far the worst movie I've sseen in a very long time. Horrible music, Matt Damon talking to himself in the background, what a disappointment.
The Informant
If you could choose 0 in the ratings, I would have chosen it instead of 1... This is by far, the worst movie I've ever seen. Out of us four that went to see it, 3 of us fell asleep after the first half hour, and struggled to stay awake for the rest of it waiting for some kind of action, that never happened. Also, the music for that movie was just terrible !! A waste of time and money !!!!
The informant
Hello Fans,
This show was boring and not too many laughs. What you saw in the comerical is the only parts in the movie that was funny.
The Informant! - don't waist your time
This movie is ruined by the carnival like music played during the filler scenes. It also has Matt Damon doing a self-talk during the entire movie with rather stupid little anticdotes & silly recollections that are very annoying. I never walk out on a movie (because I always want to see if it will get better), but my husband and I were considering leaving. One couple did leave about 30 minutes in. There a few surprise stars in this film that made us laugh but all in all, I agree with the first review "a bore".
The Informant
Really boring. Three out of our of our group fell asleep. We were going to get up and leave, but we expected it to get better any time.
THE INFORMANT.
Real sleeper.
