Its a Harry Potter movie

I'm just thrilled to have another Harry Potter movie. Good, bad or indifferent you either love the series or you don't. I think the worst thing is that the movies like the books will come to an end all too soon so don't complain, just go and enjoy.

it was ok

I am a big harry potter fan can't wait for the next movie to come out but if u read the book then the movie the movie is very disappointing there was not as much detail as i would have liked and out of all the movies it was the worst one for being like the book and out off all the worst please make the next harry potter movie better and for draco i think he did a great job for what the play wrighters wrote for him any way good luck on the next movie over all i rate this movie a 3 and a haft and the graphics for awsome

3 Star rating.

Okay so I did not like it. I am a Harry Potter fan and I have all the books and seen all the movies, but in all fairness I liked the book better even though the visual Effects are getting better with every movie...Well what can I say, it is a Harry Potter movie, so the apple can't fall far from the tree....

good

its good..some funny parts(english jokes) which i understood cause i'm english..its a bit of a bum nummer cuz its so long so parts r intense..worth seeing!

Very Disapointing!

I love all the harry potter movies, I was very excited to go and see this one because all of the movies so far have been great! But this movie really was a disappointment,It dragged on and a lot was left out from the novel! Hope the last one is way better then this!

HP & Half Blood Prince - good & disappointing

It was an excellent movie if you haven't read the book. I was disappointed in the changes they made. The potions book (the whole point of the title) was hardly mentioned in the movie. What was up with the waitress at the beginning? There was also no reason for Draco to fix the vanishing cabinet because the entire Hogwarts/Death eater battle was left out. They just came through and ran off into town. What was the point of that? Draco and Snape could have carried on by themselves. Harry's and Ginny's romance was played down too much. I am quite surprised that J.K. Rowling approved the script. My advice - if you've read the book, forget it before you see the movie.
P.S. I wiil, however, still buy it when it comes out on DVD. Maybe the deleted scenes will put things in a better perspective. I also need it for my collection.

I found this movie entertaining and exciting....But I was disappointed that the movie took a turn towards a lighter side. That viewed more comedy and romance. I wanted it to see more Draco and Death eaters. They missed major parts in the book. (I did not get who was the Half-Blood Prince was)I understand that there is so much they can put in one movie. But I enjoyed the camera angles and dialogue. This movie (to me) was more of introduction towards the next movie (part 1 and 2).

i seen all the harry potter movies.i was so disappointed with this one.the next one i will wait till it comes out at the block busters.and not listen to others reviews.

Entertaining but disappointing

My first time seeing Harry Potter Movies. My partner has seen all of them. Like her, I was disappointed in the movie's lack of delivery on details. This movie is far less dramatic and lost the potential from the book. According to my partner, the series started off with fun and fantastical and then moved into the dark and scary. This movie seemed more tailored to the very young movie goer/family viewers.
There is always at least one lemon in sequels, perhaps this is it for this series and hopefully the last.

I am going to watch the previous movies to see if it will help me get over my experience with this movie.

HP6

This movie was good, the ending was very abrupt though. HP6 was the best movie so far, i do agree, but they made the movie too much like a romance movie instead of an action type movie. Harry potter 6 is a MUST SEE movie. The best so far.

Excellent Adaptation...considering the last one.

I really enjoyed this movie. There were things that were missed of course and things changed, but considering what a train wreck ORder of the Phoenix was this was a great film! The acting was good. Jim Broadbent was my favourite part as Slughorn and the rest of the young cast has really grown up.
There was a comment privous to mine complaining that they didnt introduce characters new or old. Thats because the producers/writers/director wanted to make this more of a fan movie. They didnt want to waste time telling the people who havent seen the others who people were becasue they didnt want to disappoint the fans. I was not disappointed at all. I know who the characters are, so I;m glad they didnt waste my time telling me who was who.
I was sort of disappointed with the way it ended because that was such a huge part, but I think they made it work, just not as cool as the book!

Ill go see it again for sure. 4/5

Okay

3

Okay if you are a Harry Potter reader you like me were very disappointed. The left out so much! I felt that they moved things along way too fast. The ending was such a let down!!! They could of made it unreal but no they rushed it. They better make the last one better.

A disapointment

2

To anyone out there who read the book, stick with them and don't come watch it you'll be dissapointed! Special effects were exelent but they took out so much that was important to the story that it wasn't good! for example: there where supposed to be 3 more memories that dumbledore should have shown harry, and two more battles! if this movie was not made from the book I would have liked it! go watch public enimies!

The Most Disappointing Movie EVER!

1

The most pathetic attempt at a Harry Potter movie I've EVER seen! All the best parts were left out of the movie (including at least 4 of the memories Dumbledore is supposed to show Harry)which has put the plotline to the seventh movie in Jeopardy. From start to finish, the movie was unlike the book in every way. The movie went too quickly and if you hadn't read the book, you'd have no idea as to why the charaters reacted the way they didc. The new characters weren't introduced very well and instead of being entertaining or interesting, the movie seemed as if the director just wanted to get it over with as soon as possible and in short, I was extremely disappointed. It was not worth the wait and I seriously hope the next movie will be better and more like the book.

Awesome!

5

Definitely worth standing in line for almost 2 hours on opening night :o).

Harry Potter

3

After reading all the books and watching all the movies, I was a bit disappointed with the movie. I expected a LOT more action and suspense. I found the movie focused a great deal on the love triangles between Harry and Ginny and Ron and Hermione with a few comic moments thrown in. It definitely did not do the book justice.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince = Excellent

5

I am a true Harry Potter where I've read the books and watched all the movies.

This movie was excellent and is much better than the others as it is the 2nd to last one of the series.

For people that did not read the book or it was their first time watching something like Harry Potter, the viewer's easily knew what was happening because the way the producer portrayed each event!

not as good as expected.

2

i was excited to see this movie, but when it was over, i wasnt quite happy with it, it was supposed to be amazing, and it wasnt. All of the other movies are better than this one, especially goblet of fire, because robert pattinson dies, GOD I HATE HIM AND ALL TWILIGHT STUFF!

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

5

This movie was absolutely fabulous! The acting was so true and believable, and it really makes a connection with people in their teenage years. I am a huge fan of the books, and I was scared of how much was going to be left out of the movie, but I found that almost all of the must-have's from the book, were in there :) I laughed, and cried!

goodtimes with a big sad moment

4

My biggest issue with it was that it was all set up and no substance until the very end - lotsa luv which is fine but the story seemed to lack something - seemed flat compared to almost all the others.

fail.

4

i was let down. extremely rushed ending that didn't do justice the he book.
therefore failed ending
the rest of the movie was done well
except the fact that they took out the entire ministry.
but whatever!
life goes on...
