Synopsis

The ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But, the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus is helpless to save his family from Hades, vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.

Comments: It stayed on par with the original for cheesy. The 3D was pretty bad, but it was a last minute edition.

Comments: This movie was decent but definatly not worth watching in theaters. The previews were true 3-D. It' s better off to be bought on DVD

Comments: This movie seem to be lacking 3D. It was a good movie that protrayed the gods as history tells it. Less talk and more action needed

Comments: found this movie to be one of the worst remakes ever made!!! they completely missed the whole story line from the original movie. not worth seeing in 3-D was a waste of money and time to see this movie. there are much better things you can do with your money and time then going to see this poor excuse for a movie. i and think that people should stop remaking classic movies because all they ever do is butcher great movies

Comments: There was nothing 3-D about this movie. The only action you will see in this movie is in the trailer. I recommend saving your money and waiting for it to come out on DVD. This movie was a big let down.

Comments: So, I was back at the theatre last night and I came upon the 3D remake of ‘Clash of the Titans,’ and so I went. It is, upfront, not a very good movie at all. The action scenes are cut together at a blistering and blinding pace; for reasons that, I suspect, have less to do with style or kinetic energy than they do with covering up lapses in the visual effects – which are serviceable, but not great. The movie is not totally without its bright spots – Liam Neeson is excellent as Zeus (the man was born to play mentors, Jedi Masters, Batman villains & Gods) and Ralph Fienes is superb as Hades – but neither has sufficient screen time to elevate the movie overall. Gemma Atherton (the female lead) is luminous as well, but again, the character is largely sidelined and not nearly so significant as to make the movie watchable. The lead – Sam Worthington – has all of the screen presence of a day old bagel; although I suspect that this may have less to do with him as an actor than it does with the character and script. And not that I have any great wish to kick a movie when its down, but the music is also beyond hideous – being largely atonal, pointlessly loud and almost totally devoid of melody. So, no, I was not wholly impressed. There are much better movies in the world than this. A good time will be had by all, especially if you’re in the mood to give yourself a blistering headache without the nuisance of first having to go to work.

Comments: Visually the movie was stunning, although if I had to do it over again I'd pass on the 3-D version as very little seemed to stand out as in other 3-D movies I've seen so far! 2-D would be sufficient for this experience, save yourself the extra $3! The movie was altered from the Original in some rather unique ways, but overall I'd have to say the original version was Superior in story & characterization. I was disappointed with the lack of screentime for the gods of Olympus.
