Movie goers were coned by this one
It is unfortunate that movie goers cannot get a refund because they were not pleased with a movie. The producers, directors, studios and manipulative marketing people really have us by the "short hairs".
If I were this pleased with another "product" I'd get a refund.
The stuff coming out of Hollywood these days is absolute garbage. Once in a blue moon a director like Ron Howard produces a movie with some substance to it but, that's about it.
Hell, even the Twilight series are nothing but hype!
The Box is pure sewage!
Worst movie ever
Don't waste your money on this movie. This genre should be sci-fi not a thriller. Really bad acting also, and the commercials were nothing like the movie. Save yourself some money and don't watch this ever, not even to rent when it comes out on dvd.
SUCKS
Just plain sucks!
What a horrible movie. Nothing but a complete waste of time and money. The ending is no surprise for regular movie goers.
It's just plain stupid from the very start. To top off the negatives it is portrayed in the late '70s early '80s which made it even worse for me.
If I could I would give it a -10. Should have asked for my money back.
very bad
do not go and see this just don't you will thank me later.
The Box
Everybody that was coming out of the theatre were standing in the theatre foyer saying to each other "that is the stupidest movie I have ever seen" I agree it was a waste of time, money was stupid in so many ways it is hard to decribe
I thought this movie was
I thought this movie was terrible. Made no sense at all right up to the end. A waste of time and money. Not even a rental!
AWFUL MOVIE..DO NOT GO
One out of 5 was the lowest the site would allow for a rating. I would give it a minus 5. I waited more than a month (after seeing trailer) for this movie to come and am so disappointed. I am not hard to please at movies, this is awful, awful awful. Do not even rent the DVD when it comes. Save $5.
The movie is boring, confusing at parts, not suspenseful at all and acting is terrible.
GO SEE LAW ABIDING CITIZEN THOUGH, THAT ONE IS A GREAT MOVIE, LOVED IT!!!!!
Worse movie ever!!!!!
I see 1 or 2 movies at the theatre every week so I would consider myself a movie buff. The Box has to be one of the worse, if not the worse, movies I have ever seen. It drags on forever, the storyline is horrible and the ending even worse. Sometimes I feel movies aren't that good and watchign it on DVD would be good enough, but I wouldn't even spend $5 on the movie rental.
The Box
I go to the the movies every week and have never written a review but have just got home from seeing THE BOX and HAD to warn people:
This movie really is AWFUL!!
Around 40 people left before we finally gave up and decided this movie should be put in a box and the key thrown away !
The storyline is totally differrent to what the trailer depicts, I will not give away the storyline in case you want to see it but, suffice to say, save your time and money for a good one like Law Abiding Citizen which was AWESOME!
THE WORST MOVIE I EVER TRIED TO SEE , only gave 1 out of 5 because there is no minus
