Average Review (15 reviews) SynopsisIn the not-too-distant future, some 30 years after the final war, a solitary man walks across the wasteland that was once America. There is no civilization here, no law. The roads belong to gangs that would murder a man for his shoes, an ounce of water -- or for nothing at all. A warrior not by choice but necessity, Eli seeks only peace but, if challenged, will cut his attackers down before they realize their fatal mistake. It's not his life he guards so fiercely but his hope for the future; a hope he has carried and protected for 30 years and is determined to realize. Driven by this commitment and guided by his belief in something greater than himself, Eli does what he must to survive--and continue.CastMila Kunis, Gary Oldman, Denzel Washington, Malcolm McDowell, Michael Gambon, Jennifer Beals, Ray Stevenson, Tom Waits, Lateef Crowder, Chris BrowningProducersJoel SilverUser Reviews To post a movie review, please login. All Reviewsbleedinggum thought it was LOL 1 year ago Comments: I went to this flick because of Denzel .. but what the . I was so bloody disappointed. Not worth the admission and popcorn you spent. AVOID at all cost. AJEngland 1 year ago Comments: I think they may have broken the record for slow-mo sequences. I had to keep checking my watch to see if it would finally be over soon.....not a good sign. It started off interesting enough but started to really bore me. The one highlight was the old lady they encountered with her husband. She should have had Denzzzzzzzzzel's part. itech545 2 years ago Comments: Good but a bit confusing ninetoes thought it was GR8 2 years ago Comments: very good movie enjoyed it and I liked the ending littleflamer thought it was SMART 2 years ago Comments: I was on the fence about this one in the beginning, finding it mostly bloody and violent. Not worth the price of admission.Very dissapointing. lois153 2 years ago Comments: not the usual denzel movie, not that impressed BAH thought it was TRASH 2 years ago Gerry43 2 years ago Comments: I was very surprised by this movie. Although it did have some of the typical post apocolypse type movie scenes, it had a good story with a surprise ending, definetly worth the price of admission. guerti 2 years ago Comments: Very, very slow. Wait for the DVD. blahblahblah thought it was WICKED and WHOA 2 years ago Comments: ePICCCC msavidant thought it was LAME 2 years ago Comments: Possibly the most boring movie I've seen in a long time. Love Denzel, but what was he thinking when he signed on for this. Waste of time & money. olps thought it was WHOA 2 years ago Comments: ...It's almost there. ammaretto thought it was SO-SO 2 years ago Comments: I was really hoping to like this..denzel was the only good thing about the movie..just very boring & NOT what i expected. Still think they should have cast an "un-known" instead of that gal from "that 70's show"..... ;-(
