There is a new Definition of Master Piece in my dictionary and it can be defined in only one way, Avatar.

From the screening, to the cast, to acting, script, story line, never have I seen such greatness in one movie.

Not only would it be good in a 2D aspect, but they made it in 3D. Making the movie, two or even 3 times better.

The only one thing puzzling me, is, Why didn't the Blue people (Pandorien) pick up the guns of the soldiers they killed?

Perhaps the guns were to small for their hands?

I am impressed out of this movie, it holds a lot of things a great movie has, Action, drama, romance, Advanture.

It striques almost every emotions known to man, Laughter, Sadness, Fear, suspence.

Titanic was good, but this..this is amazing.

Brilliant! My only regret is that this movie has spoiled me and seeing a typical "2D" movie will never be the same. It was visually fantastic and is the next step in movie making. Oh to be 10 feet tall and blue!!

Wow, do I have a review for you.
First off, I have seen a lot of sci-fi movies, including James Cameron's Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. I have also seen Titanic, which until now has remained as one of my favorite movies.
Until now.
Avatar pushes beyond the boundaries of any movie and not only makes a leap forward in the sci-fi industry, but in filmaking in it's entirety. The 3D animation in this movie is fantastic, and more than once I reacted and wanted to put my hand up and brush against the side of a leaf. That said, Avatar reminds us all why sci-fi is so famous.
Instead of just making another war, James Cameron took us to the heart and life of the Navi (the blue aliens) and showed us the religion, practise, rituals, and love that they have. Not only that, but he showed us the diversity of Pandora, the structure and foundation of the creatures there, and a reason to cheer for them instead of us. The Human Race.
And as Sam Worthington evolves through this movie, us in his every step, we see how the people react to him and how they react to the Humans.
Besides the story, the animation in this movie was flawless. No exceptions. The plants, animals, people, you name it; they all look brilliant and realistic. Up there with District 9 on the realism scale.
Finally, as the cherry on top, the music fits in with everything. The people, the speach, the atmosphere, the emotion; the music is still in my mind, and my hands are still shaking from the excitement of everything.
Without a doubt the best movie that I've ever seen. Tops all other sci-fi movies by miles and miles. Well done James Cameron, well done.
That said, my work here is done. Avatar, on the other hand, has a long road to go, and all of it is with greatness and excitement.

I have seen this movie three times now and I cannot get enough of it. I am going to see it again tonight, not 3d cause summerside sucks but I saw it in 3d in halifax and, wow. The visual effects and rendering is truly incredible, I cannot wait for a runner up Avatar movie in a couple of years.

Bring on the Trilogy!

Wow one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. In my opinion it lacked nothing the effects and scenery were absolutely dazzling the plot kept me interested. A movie I will most definitely see again this is probably my new favourite movie. Absolutely go see it

I knew going in to the theatre that I would be happy with the special effects but I was not prepared for how great this movie is. The 3D is stunning, period. And the effects are equally great,I had the assumption that the movie was all effects and no story but I was dead wrong, it has a great story line as well, it is a long movie but did not drag at all, I had my 11 year old son with me and he was completely into the movie from start to finish. Excellent!

Truely a visual masterpiece not to mention the good story and spectacular special effects.

Awesome action! Awesome CGI!
It was both thrilling and funny.
It had a mix of everything.
It's nice to see another great James Cameron movie.
Plus, the 3D was amazing.
I can't wait to get it on blu-ray.

Super boring. Yeah, yeah...special effects were neat, but after an hour of plants lighting up, well, it got rather boring. Would have left the theater, but partner wanted to stay.

Movie was Outstanding, been awhile since I've seen a good movie, but this one was really amazing (3D), Go see it!!!

3D movies have come a long way from the green and red lens this is the first real 3D movie I've seen and this is bye far one of the best james cameron films showing why james is a top film maker.

One of the best movies of the year- if not the best! Great for tweens on up, not for little ones. It's got everything, lots of action, drama, comedy, romance and even some horror. We'll definitely see it again and buy it on dvd.
