Average Review (20 reviews) Synopsis"Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel" brings back our favorite furry brothers, Alvin, Simon and Theodore. Because of a freak accident involving Alvin and Dave Seville, they go to live with Dave Seville's cool cousin Toby and must enroll in school just like every other kid. School presents new challenges to these rock stars, like dealing with peer pressure, school sports and of course, girls! By "girls" we mean the Chipettes who are managed by Ian Hawke, the Chipmunks greedy former manager who wants to turn them into the next big thing. At the outset, there is a rivalry between the Chipettes and The Chipmunks but in the end they realize that they make great friends and a great musical team!CastProducersRoss Bagdasarian Jr., Janice KarmanUser Reviews To post a movie review, please login. Makes kids go Haha, makes Adults go HAHA
My old English teacher once told us, after he became a father, that, the people who make the kids shows, know that adults will be watching as well with their child, while looking out for them. The director created a movie that would have the kids go HUH UH!! :D and the Adults go HUH UH :D
Despite that, I find that the movie was a bit cliche and a bit of a High School Musical rip off. Notwithstanding that, i believe this movie made High School Musical look more like a rip off.
It was overall good, but not the best.
