Average Review (6 reviews) SynopsisFrom Walt Disney Pictures and visionary director Tim Burton comes an epic fantasy adventure, a magical and imaginative twist on some of the most beloved stories of all time. Johnny Depp stars as the Mad Hatter and Mia Wasikowska as 19-year-old Alice, who returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends: the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Mad Hatter. Alice embarks on a fantastical journey to find her true destiny and end the Red Queen's reign of terror. I gave it 4/5 stars because of many reasons some good and some bad. I think it was a genius move on Burton's part to make this movie first of all. Although kind of creepy, mainly the Mad Hatter, I think it was a great move to film the dark sort of way that he did. The thing I think that made this movie extra good was the music. In all movies if you do not have good music it can ruin the movie completely, this was not the case in Alice in Wonderland. I was very happy with the perfect amount of humour also in this movie, especially the Red Queen. There are many more htings that I was amazed with in this movie, such as detail of the land. But the one thing you have to say is how incredible, once again, Johnny Depp was as the Mad Hatter, There was know one that could of played it better.
