This movie gives you the WOW factor 100%. Some of it was over the top but the effects were good. I will likely buy this one on BlueRay when it comes out. This movie also had a story in it which is unusual in a movie with so much action and effects.

It was a good movie. But they could have cut like half of it out! But the effects wee amazing :)I'm glad i saw it with my friends. The acting was ok.. 3/5

I liked it. The premise was believable. Casting was great. Loved John Cusack, and I think Woody Harrelson stole the show. Great bits of humour, both light and dark.
Not usually my first choice of movie, but I'm glad I went and saw it on the big screen.

This was amazing, i was biting my nails the whole way through. the graphics were incredible and the acting was really good to. some things were far retch but you kinda expect that with a movie about the end of the world. All together it is a amazing movie and if you have a chance to go see it, do it! And If you've already scene it and have and other chance, GO AGAIN! its awesome!

This movie was awesome - I was still gripped to my seat even after seeing it a second time - Action packed from the get go and the sound effects were amazing! As someone already mentions, it certainly gives you something to think about. This is a must see!

This was a good movie as long as you are prepared for a good ole disaster flick. The FX and visuals carry the movie. If you are looking for an unpredictable storyline and good drama, this is not the movie for you. Also, leave your Canadian hat at the door because this movie is pure Americanism. If you thought they 'nuked the fridge' in the last Indiana Jones movie (that is they went a bit too far with what is 'believable' even for those who love a good sci-fi ride), then they nuked the whole kitchen in this flick. Take it for what it is and you'll enjoy it.

This movie was an amazing movie! The action was Amazing, the plot was phenominal and the cating was top notch.

If you are a fan of apocolyptic movies with amazing special effects and plot then this is the movie for you.

In fact, even if you don't like those kinds of movies you should still see it cause it will make you like them ALOT.

Wow, where do I start?
Okay, I saw many of the trailers for this movie and dismissed them, thinking that this movie would just be another movie. Nothing special.
But jeez, was I ever wrong (and glad that I was). After seeing the "Number One Movie In the World" add, I at least had to check it out.
From the first few minutes, the movie grips you tight, and gives out a feeling of dread for what to come. And when it does, explaining who, what, where, and why in believeable terms, it delivers.
When I say edge of your seat action, I mean it. This movie literaly had me cheering for the characters and hoping (wanting) them to make it through. And as the absolutely stunning disasters occured (one of them literaly 'wowed' the audience, you'll know it when you see it, trust me) they had me just begging for more.
But beyond just the action, this movie symbolizes that we as the human race are one. It tells of the simple will to survive and human capasity for courage, as well as evil.
By the end of this movie, as I walked out of the theatre, I was beyond satisfied.
Finally, an apocolyptic flick to be remebered, and a movie that doesn't need guns to be entertaining.
What can I say? Go see it now, before the 2012 Phenomenon REALLY happens!

Wow! Waited for months to see this movie. Wasn't disappointed despite critics remarks. Delivered just what was expected. Fantastic special effects,seat of your pants thrills and something to think about. No falling asleep during this one. LOVED IT!!!!!

Ther is so much action, and it will have you on the edge of your seat for the whole movie! the secial effects are AMAZING. JUST GO SEE IT! you wont be disappointed!!!!!!

One of the best movies I have ever seen! I waited for months for this movie to come out, it was even more then what i thought it was gonna be. Put me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole movie.. A must see to watch in the theatre. The sound effects were amazing. LOVED IT!

I saw 2012 last night. I watch alot of movies and I have to say that I am quite critical of effects. The effects in this movie were stunning and made the effects in Titanic look like a puppet show!
The movie is long but trust me you don't even notice, time goes by very fast with non-stop action and suspense.
The only bad thing I have to say about this movie is that some of the character plots were a bit lacking but the plot that we are all human and should keep our himanity was lound and clear in it's message. This movie shows that we all have the potential to strive for the greater good and when push comes to shove humanity wins.
This is also the type of movie that you need to see on the big screen because watchin it at home on a regular TV you won't appreciate the magnitude of the effects.
I'm sure this movie will receive alot of awards!

This movie was awesome better then his - Day after - movie, and only hope that it never happens, and hope the government of the world is sneaky enough to build those boats.

You won't regret that one!!! It is simply unforgettable. Just get up and go see it...that's all I have to say.
