Are you selling the Empire Insider Membership list to third parties?

No. This list is only used by us to deliver a more personal and enhanced movie going experience to our guests by emailing showtimes for preferred theatres on a weekly basis, providing exclusive access to offers, promotions (like this one!) and contests. Nothing will be mailed to your home and we will only phone you if you have won a contest that you opted to participate in.

2. Printing

I'm having trouble printing the coupon:

a) My Coupon Will Not Print At All

b) My Coupon is Printing, but is blank or missing parts

If printing directly from the page does not work, right click on the coupon image shown in the pop-up window and save it to your local computer. Open the image in your favourite graphics program (your web browser should work just fine) and print from there.

Why can't I print out a coupon that falls on a later day of the week?

Coupons are valid only on the present day. To take advantage of an offer at a later day in the week, please log in on that day to print off your coupon.

My printer doesn't print colour ... is that ok?

Yes, that's fine. The important information on the coupon will print in black ink.

I don't have access to a printer. Can I still get a coupon?

In order to take advantage of these offers you must have access to a printer, i.e. a friend, at work, at home, etc.

I printed out a coupon the other day but did not use it. Can I use it at a later date?

No. Coupons are valid only for the date you print them. They cannot be used at a later date. Each coupon has a unique serial code and expiration date that makes it valid for one day only.

Can I print off a multiple copies of the same coupon?

Each coupon has a unique serial code which works only once. If you print off more than one coupon, only the first coupon scanned at the theatre will work. The rest will be rejected.

I have been able to make photocopies of your electronic coupons in the past, i.e. Buy One, Get One Free.

All of our coupons now have a unique barcode and serial number which can only be scanned into the system once. Photocopies will no longer be accepted into the scanning system. Please do not make photocopies. The first person to use the coupon will be accepted, and any future people who attempt to use that coupon will have their's rejected.

My coupon did not print out properly. Will the theatre accept it?

A theatre will accept a coupon as long as the barcode, located on the bottom right hand side, will scan into the system. The barcode must be clear and free of rips, wrinkles, smudges and have a full set of bars and numbers. If your coupon prints the barcode but the rest is unclear, please be sure to read the legal restrictions while it is on your screen so you know when to redeem it and what restrictions exist for this particular coupon.

3. How to use the coupons

Can I use the coupons for tickets purchased online or at the Automated Box Offices (ABOs)?

The coupons cannot be used for online ticket purchases. The coupons can only be used with a cashier at the Box Office or Refreshment counter of the theatre.

Can I use my coupon at the Automated Ticket Kiosks located in the movie theatre?

No, these kiosks do not have scanning capability so the coupons must be brought to a cashier to be used. The legal language located on the coupon will tell you where to bring it to be redeemed.

For the food coupons, can I bring them to the Box Office or Guest Services to be redeemed?

No, all food related coupons must be brought directly to the Refreshments counter to be redeemed.

Can I go to the movie theatre to get my coupon there?

No, coupons are only available online.

Can I use my coupon for advance ticket purchases?

No, the coupons can only be applied to movies that are playing on the same day.

Can I use my coupon for a midnight show that starts after midnight?

Yes, the coupon will still be valid past midnight so you can use it as long as the terms and conditions allow, i.e. check for pass restrictions on certain films.

Can I substitute items in the offer with other items?

No, these coupons do not allow substitutions.

Why can I only see 7 offers on the Daily Deals site?

The offers will appear one week at a time, from Monday - Sunday. Check in every Monday to see what the offers are for that week.

Is this promotion going to last forever?

The Daily Deals of Summer will only take place in the summer months. We'll have some other promotions and contests happening it the fall and winter. Check our website regularly for news.

Why are some of the coupons not valid for certain movies?

Some of the coupons are pass restricted for certain movies because of our obligations to the movie studios. This will only affect a few of the movies playing this summer so you can always use a pass restricted coupon to see the other great movies that are playing. The pass restriction is stated on the coupon itself so be sure to read your coupon before bringing it to the theatre.
